Lucid Bots Inc. is an AI robotics company that is committed to uplifting humanity by building the world's most productive and responsible robots that perform dangerous and demanding tasks. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, we engineer, manufacture, and support our products domestically, including the Sherpa exterior cleaning and window washing drone and the Lavo Bot surface-cleaning robot. In July 2024, Lucid Bots acquired Avianna, an AI company that enables robots to understand human language and operate autonomously. This follows Lucid Bots’ mission to create smart, productive, and responsible robots integrated into daily life by incorporating voice command and chat so users can communicate with their Sherpa and Lavo Bot products making projects easier.

Lucid Bots’ products are elevating safety and efficiency for a growing number of customers around the world. Lucid is a Y Combinator-backed company, with investments from Cubit Capital, Idea Fund Partners, Danu Ventures, and others private investors. Lucid Bots raised $9M in Series A funding in May and was recently named a member of the NVIDIA Inception Program, designed to help startups evolve faster through cutting-edge technology, opportunities to connect with venture capitalists, and access to the latest technical resources.

Lucid Bots' journey started with the aspiration of establishing a thriving exterior cleaning business, recognizing the challenging, hazardous, and outdated nature of the industry. In 2018, Lucid Bot emerged with the aim to adapt off-the-shelf drones for exterior soft-washing.

However, after investing considerable time and resources, it became evident that the necessary drone didn't exist in the market. This realization led our founders to embark on the mission of creating a tailor-made solution from scratch, encompassing the right product and essential support for success.

Today we help professional contractors, building owners, universities, medical centers and countless customers make exterior cleaning easier, more efficient and safer for the end user. We are creating endless possibilities, empowering people with more productive robots.
