Why the Brain + Frame + Payload Stack Wins
Can I use my standard hose?
Yes, you can use any standard 3/8 in. pressure-rated hose. Hose and power cord are attached via removable clips.
Do I need to send it back to retrofit?
No, DIY, very similar to plugging in the battery.
What happens if the hose gets damaged or needs to be replaced?
Replace the hose. Hose is separate from tether.
Can I still use the batteries?
Yes
What are the routine maintenance requirements for the power tether system?
Rinse off the air unit with clean low pressure water after use. Clean air inlet and outlet of ground unit when it becomes dirty.
Is the system waterproof? Is it corrosion resistant?
The unit on the drone is designed to be IP67 rated and corrosion resistant. The unit on the ground designed to be IP43 rated.
What happens if power from the tether is interrupted?
The onboard battery is the backup battery. When power from the ground is lost the backup battery provides a few minutes of flight time. This gives you time to gas up the generator or to perform a safe landing.
Does the tether restrict Sherpa Drone's mobility?
No more than the water hose tether already does
How long does installation and set up take?
Less than 10 minutes
Does the power tether mean unlimited flight time?
Yes, as long as you keep gas in the generator and stay below the max weight limits
Can I retrofit the system to my existing Sherpa Drone?
Yes, the power tether is designed to work with any model of the Sherpa Drone.*May only work with CAN bus enabled Sherpas
Do I still need batteries when using the power tether?
Yes, you will still need at least 1 charged battery to use the power tether.
Why One Brain Wins

Every bot learns. Every bot shares. Every bot gets smarter.
Built for the Future
Publish your own “custom bricks” that click into the Lucid stack.
Drag-and-drop missions, monitor status, and reconfigure payloads from anywhere.
Swarm & BVLOS – stack more bricks: multi-robot coordination and beyond-visual-line-of-sight autonomy already in alpha.
proof-of-work images, performance dashboards, and predictive maintenance ping you the moment they’re needed.
SOC 2 pipelines, encrypted mesh networking, and role-based access keep every brick—and every byte—locked down.
our LEGO set speaks fluent facilities-management so work orders open and close automatically.
